Refund Policy
At ClipTranscribr, we're dedicated to helping you extract YouTube transcripts quickly and efficiently. Below you'll find important information about how our service works, what we can and cannot process, and our refund guidelines.
How the Tool Works
ClipTranscribr accesses and retrieves existing transcripts directly from YouTube videos. We don't create or generate new transcripts; our service extracts captions and transcripts that YouTube already has available for each video.
The tool supports public YouTube videos that:
- Have an existing transcript (either auto-generated or uploaded by creator)
- Are publicly available (not restricted, unlisted, or private)
- Are accessible from your location (not geoblocked)
What Is Not Supported
We do not support the following video types:
- Private, unlisted, or age-restricted videos
- Videos without transcripts or subtitles
- Geoblocked content unavailable in your region
- Live streams or premieres without generated transcripts
If you attempt to extract transcripts from these unsupported video types, you may receive a blank result or encounter an error. This outcome is normal and does not indicate a malfunction of our service.
Subscription Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation:
- Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period
- You will continue to have access to paid features until your subscription expires
- No future charges will occur after the current billing period ends
- Your account will automatically downgrade to the free plan
Refund Conditions
Refunds are not granted by default. Requests will only be evaluated under strict circumstances:
- ClipTranscribr must fail to export a transcript for a video that:
- Has a transcript publicly available on YouTube
- Is viewable in your region (not blocked or restricted)
- Is not private, unlisted, or subject to age restrictions
- Your account must have fewer than 50 bulk transcript exports in the current subscription period
- The problem must be reported within 7 days of starting or renewing your subscription
Once a request is submitted, our team will confirm the transcript is available and accessible before issuing any refund.
Service Disruptions
On rare occasions, our platform may experience outages or technical issues that prevent access to the service. Refunds will only be considered if:
- The downtime exceeds 24 continuous hours
- For shorter outages, we may offer partial credits or other compensation at our discretion

If you believe you qualify for a refund under the terms above, please reach out to us via our support contact form. Include the following information in your message for faster processing:
